Executive summary
In this paper, the authors are going to analyze the nine measuring dimensions in Nando’s and CNHLS. Then some similarities and differences will be found in a bar-chart. By deeply analyzing these two organizations, the successful reasons and improvements needed of them will clearly appear in front of the readers. What is worth mentioning is that these nine measuring dimensions are important indicators for company’s analysis.

1.0 A brief introduction
These two organizations are both related to food. The following part is a brief introduction of them. Nando’s is a worldwide company that mainly serves chicken and other kind of staples. The history of Nando’s can be dated back to 14th century. In was kind of shared heritage of the battle in South Africa. The Portuguese invaders introduced the chilli which was called PERI PERI. This condiment contributed a lot to the cooking of Nando’s food (Weick & Quinn, 1999). What’s more, the decoration of this restaurant is very special with wooden structure (wooden table, wooden chairs, and wooden floor). However, such popular food chains do not enter China’s huge market. As for the CNHLS, it is a kind of Chinese fast food chains. CNHLS sells hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken and French fries, and so on. CNHLS is the company aiming to generate in native land, serve for native land and corporate with other company such as Pepsi, Nestle and so on to establish the company image. 2.0 Introduction of the measuring dimensions of these two organizations Chat1: Bar-chart of nine dimensions of Nando’s and CNHLS.

2.1 Q1: Introduction of these nine measuring dimensions
In the bar-chart, it is clear about the nine measuring dimensions including: organizational mindset, sizes, goals, culture, external environment, technology, hierarchy, specialization, and formalization. What’s more, there are indicators for each measuring dimensions. What can be draw from the chart is these indicators are more significant and meaningful ones from the comparison. In addition, these measuring dimensions can analyze the development and the future prospects of these two companies. 2.2 Q2: The similarities of measuring dimensions for these two organizations Seen from the chart, a clear comparison is presented in readers’ eyes. There are similar controlling matters and different controlling matters. When it comes to the form of hierarchy, both of the two organizations prefer to execute tall hierarchy of authority (Barbour, Jacocks, Wesner, 2013). As for the specialization, these two companies are prone to separate the tasks and roles rather than overlap the tasks which may cause the time waste in the company. In addition, both of these organizations have well-defined goals. As for Nando’s, its main goal is to sell the special chicken with its own characteristics and the CNHLS aims to be more simple, and serve native people with their simple lives. 2.3 Q3: The differences of measuring dimensions for these two organizations In the aspect of organizational mindset, CNHLS prefers to execute organic system, and Nando’s is more prone to operate mechanistic system.
