I. INTRODUCTION:

It is a fact that every individual will grow old if they will not die at his young age. Our parents or grandparents who were born ahead of us will become old first than us. Being a responsible son or daughter we should not forsake them because that is our duty to serve and take good care of them when they reach that period. We are the only person who can extend the best for them .Stated also in the book of Exodus 20:12 “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee”. It is very clear that we should love them as long as they live because that is also one of the God‘s Commandment. II. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

Caring for the Elderly
We all know that when the person reach the age of 60, they will start to feel some pains in their bodies most of them are started to have arthritis, Alzheimer or suffer from different illness .The following are the problems: How do we care for the elderly?

Why do we need to send them in the institution like Home for the Elderly? What are the programs extend by the Government for the elders?

III. CAUSES OF THE PROBLEM
Being a family member, you may be the first person to step in and become the caregiver of that senior citizen but there are problems that one will encounter like: -They do not know how to take care of them.

-They do not have time to look for them,
-There is no place in the house where they can stay for the whole day -There is no enough budget for the expenses of the elders
