1. Introduction
Acme Mineral Extraction Company implemented a work team effectiveness model to resolve two major issues within the organisation. Low morale was impacting on

productivity levels and issues were further compounded by unresolved conflicts between two major working groups. Suzanne Howard was brought into the organisation, and with the help of Donald Peterson, a highly regarded employee of 39 years they developed a plan which ultimately resolved all issues and conflict. As a result productivity and morale improved resulting in declining costs to the organisation and a collaborative working arrangement between the teams. It is made worse by the deficiency in communication which is crucial to ensuring all employees feel they are a part of the organisations mission and strategy success through collective responsibility.
