Organizational Behavior Forces Discussion
Organizational behavior has gained much influence and perception upon individuals and organizations in today’s society that organizational culture and diversity has also become a target of matter. The purpose of organizational behavior is to gain a greater understanding of factors that influence individual and group dynamics in an organizational setting so that individuals, groups and organizations to which they belong may become more efficient and effective. Within this requested assignment, the authors were asked to compare and contrast each of the organizations of their learning team member and analyze how internal and external forces affected the organizational behavior for each organization. Discussion and Analysis

As a group, each member analyzed and discussed their own organization to identify which internal and external forces affected their organizational behavior and what similarities and differences could be found within them. As common and similar factors were analyzed and discussed, as a group each team member’s organization found common grounds in forces such as: organizational mission, competition, economy, and customer demands.

The organizational mission is an explanation for the reason why the organization exists, what it does now and what its purpose to society is. Organizational mission is an internal force that affects the behavior of the organization. It plays the role of enabling motivation value, quality, sophistication and effectiveness. Each organization has its own organizational mission but similar meaning of satisfying and providing high quality services to its consumers. Although every similarity has differences; and the difference between these organizations is the type industry they represent. Differences share commonality and this is what helps bring society together....
