To the Elderly,
It has come to my attention that retirement for the elderly has become more than the aged merely going into a metaphoric hibernation, to rest after the struggles of life, no, retirement has turned into more than just a time of rest. Retirement has become an imprisonment for you our respected and dearly beloved forefathers. Retirement has and is turning you energetic, happy, dandy elderly into sluggish, boring, irksome, golf playing couch potatoes. This is a large concern to our future society, a fear to our future grandchildren, and is endangering the health and activeness of the aged in this current domain. What is the world coming to!? This can no longer go on, it must not be tolerated, we as a community cannot have our loving forbears sit around all day getting arthritis and other common impairments and slowly fade out of existence. I, Jordan Raj Singh, have derived a mighty and magnificent proposal, to free the esteemed elderly, YOU! And acquaint you with an improved lifestyle not only for you, no, but also for your children, their grandchildren and their great grandchildren from generation to generation we will stand up as a nation together both young and old, old and young to reseal a weld that has previously been broken between grandchildren and children. A connection which brings families together, this proposal will lift the spirits of families together to bring back the good old family spirit. Fishing is a sport for all, from the youths to the elderly. Fishing will tie off a loose end that can be fastened together by this humble recreational activity. You people have turned your backs and hardened your hearts against this modest sport because you feel that it was a thing of the past, you as younger people getting together on the weekends with their families and having an evidently great time even if there were no fish to catch. There’s something else about fishing, something hidden behind the curtain that people tend to neglect...
