In 2009, a University of Pennsylvania study estimated nearly 300,000 youth in the United States were at risk of being sexually exploited for commercial uses. Most human trafficking in the United States occurs in New York, California, and Florida. And the victims of trafficking come from all kinds of settings either it are rural, suburban or urban surroundings.
